Pleased With the Whole Process Mar 19, 2026

Just had a new HVAC installed yesterday. Pleased with the whole process from shopping for the right system to having a very efficient heat pump installed. Rav was very knowledgeable and understood my priorities right from the get-go. Over the course of a week, he gave prompt and detailed responses, and his professionalism gave A-1 the edge over another competitive quote. The team that came to install the system, led by Ramon, was polite and unbelievably quick. Thank you, Luis, Rodriguez, and Johann (and the guy who reminded me to buy new registers)! I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Desirée at the office, who was incredibly helpful! Can’t wait to enjoy air-conditioning this summer!!

Their performance was truly exceptional; not only did they install our system flawlessly, but they also took the initiative to address minor household issues, ensuring everything was in perfect order. Their demeanor was professional, and they diligently tidied up after themselves each day. Every team member remained focused and committed to completing all assigned tasks. I strongly doubt that smaller companies would have demonstrated the same level of dedication. While some companies may have chosen to cut corners, A1 Heating and Cooling prioritized quality without inflating the price—making their service an outstanding value. I also want to give a shoutout to Bill for his help in suggesting the perfect system for our needs. Working with him was a breeze—he's knowledgeable and great to work with, making the whole process smooth sailing. Bill's expertise really made a difference and added to the overall positive experience with A1 Heating and Cooling. They even provided a comprehensive tour of the attic and installation areas, demonstrating meticulous attention to detail with the application of aluminum foil tape and other materials. Unlike the occasional sloppy work seen with contractors, their craftsmanship was flawless. Additionally, Rodrigo graciously rectified an issue in one of the installation areas at no extra cost. Such exemplary service cements my decision to entrust future projects to A1 Heating and Cooling. Their work truly deserves commendation!

Great value and professional service Feb 2, 2024

A1 Heating and Cooling installed a replacement two-stage, four-ton HVAC system at my home late last year, 2023. Miguel and his team did a great job. His whole team showed up and were very professional. They were quiet and they cleaned up after themselves each day. Each of Miguel's teams worked diligently the whole time they were there on all the tasks assigned to them, including upgrading my electrical disconnect near the outside condenser coils. I doubt the smaller companies would have done all this. I feel that some companies would have cut corners, but A1 didn't do this. And the price was actually lower than some of those other companies. So it was a great value. After Miguel was done, I looked upstairs in the attic at the air handler/evaporator coils area, and the final result looked like something out of a brochure. All the aluminum foil tape, etc., was applied with care, and it showed. It was not at all sloppy work like you get sometimes with contractors. Miguel even fixed something in one of my zones that was not right. He increased the size of the branch ducts to my smallest zone to a ten-inch duct to increase airflow to that small zone. And it was done at no extra charge. A couple of months after all this fine work was done, I noticed a few action items that I thought might improve the job. A1 sent Francisco over to work on it, and his professionalism and attention to detail were excellent also. It turns out that the problem was my fault. I just needed to be more aggressive with swapping out the filter. He showed me this fact without trying to make me feel dumb about it. In the end, Francisco even made a modified filter for me because the original installers (not A1) did not make the intake register properly. The 'box' for that register was not made square, which means that *no* off-the-shelf filters fit. I need to fix that register, but Francisco created a filter that will work until I get that fixed. All this makes me want to give that job to A1 Heating and Cooling also. Good work.

A-1 installed new furnace and AC for my house. They gave the lowest price and were able to do it sooner than promised. The crew was excellent: competent, polite, a pleasure to work with. Great company. A-1 also cleaned my ducts. Duct cleaning was performed very professionally, with meticulous attention to detail, by a very polite and competent technician for a competitive price.
